Aims & Scope

The Turkish Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics Science (TJPOS) aims to share current, high-evidence, ethically conducted national and international studies in the field of prosthetics and orthotics with the scientific community, contribute to the field, and shed light on new research.

TJPOS covers all topics related to prosthetics and orthotics in medicine, healthcare, and engineering. It features interdisciplinary research in these areas. It includes articles relevant to clinicians, researchers, and educators, covering clinical, technical, educational, and policy dimensions.

It publishes articles in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, including clinical, experimental, and descriptive research, reviews, case reports, technical notes, clinical practice guidelines, educational methods, editorial commentaries, and letters to the editor.

TJPOS aims to reach a diverse, interdisciplinary, national/international readership, including prosthotists, orthotists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, orthopedists, surgeons, engineers, and educators.
